A Real Nice Surprise

I got to come home for a two week visit, and it was AWESOME!  It was a real nice surprise for my family, and a real nice surprise for me because I didn't think I was going to be able to see my family for another two years.
I spent a lot of time with my family and friends, ate a lot of meat, took long, hot showers, worshiped with my home church, and wore my hair down.  Awesome is the best word to describe it.

While I was home, we celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday, and it was so special that I got to be there.

I got to meet my sweet little new niece, Finley Campbell.  She is so stinking cute, I wanted to pack her in my bag and bring her back to Africa with me.
Had sweet snuggle time.
Impromptu Park family reunion.  The Park brothers and their ridiculously good looking kids.
MY FAMILY.  Man, I have missed them, and really love them.
Cousin time singing (OK, belting) the Frozen soundtrack.
And more and more sweet time with family and friends.
 Love this kid so much.
I dressed up in my African dress and read to Hudson's class.  Then I taught them the Swahili song, "Simama, Kaa".   I may or may not have enjoyed it more than they did.
My buds. I have missed them, as well.  Very much.
While I LOVED being home, I was looking forward to getting back to my life here on my little Island.  I was gone for a month, and I was really ready to see my friends!  I arrived back here on Thursday to a lot of rain, much cooler weather, and lots of smiling faces!

Now that I made a trip home, it's time for my mama to surprise me and come visit my Island.  I'll be waiting for you!
