I have been BLOWN AWAY by God's faithfulness and the many ways he has blessed me over this past week! I can't even begin to comprehend how GREAT He is!
Here's one of the ways God has lavished His love on me over the past 7 days:
On Wednesday night, a friend invited me to speak about the work God is doing in Africa at her bible study. We decided to grab dinner from the Loop in San Marco on the way and as we were walking down the sidewalk, she saw one of her old neighbors. She introduced me to her neighbor and he also had a friend whom he introduced us both to. Her neighbor asked what we were up to and she told him that we were grabbing a quick dinner and then I was going to share about God’s plans for me in Africa. She told him that I was going to be an Educational Consultant and a little more about what I will be doing over there. His friend, who really hadn’t said but a few words to me, asked if he could give me some money. Of course I told him sure! Haha He handed me some cash that I thanked him for and politely tucked away in my purse without counting. We continued on to dinner and once we had ordered and were seated, I pulled out the cash he had given me. He had given me TEN $100 bills!! The guy on the side of the road in San Marco, whom I had never met, and talked to for 3 minutes, gave me a thousand dollars! God is providing in very creative and fun ways!! To Him be the glory and may God use that money to further His Kingdom!
He is doing IMMEASURABLY MORE than all I have asked or imagined! Praise Him with me today! He is certainly most worthy of praise!
